Happy Diamond Anniversary to John and Sheila from Pinewood Lodge

Congratulations to Pinewood Lodge resident John and his lovely wife Sheila on their Diamond Wedding Anniversary yesterday! The couple had a small celebration in the home’s Best Friends Café with family, friends and several of John’s fellow residents. They received a card from the Queen, congratulating them on such a special occasion and enjoyed a beautiful cake they had made with their wedding photo on top. The cake was two different flavours: Victoria Sponge for Sheila and chocolate for John, experts at compromise after such a long and happy marriage! Both said they had a wonderful time and so did everyone else who was lucky enough to celebrate this special day with them.
