Helping the Homeless

The Housing Team at East Herts District Council formed a partnership with churches and affiliated people for a floating rota system of volunteers to provide hot meals to rough sleepers in Hertford over the cold winter months. Hearing about their appeal, resident Chris and staff member Carla from Belmont View in Hoddesdon have volunteered to joined St. Andrew's Church Team in Hertford and last Friday was their first shift.
