Holi festival at Richard Cox House

Richard Cox House in Royston celebrated the Hindu festival Holi, the colourful "Festival of Spring", with traditional Indian music, food and clothing. To eat there were three types of curry, rice, onion bhajis, vegetable samosas, topped off with bakarkhani for pudding. They had traditional clothing for the residents to see and feel, they enjoyed wearing the traditional bindi and henna tattoos.
