A lovely letter of thanks to Trish Daniel and the staff at Willow Court

Dear Trish, This is a difficult letter to write, one I knew I would be writing at some stage and that is to thank you and your staff on behalf of Mum, our family and myself for looking after Dad for almost 5 years at Willow Court. It is not easy to experience a loved one going into a care home. I know each and every one of my family had mixed emotions about this. None more than Mum, who had cared for Dad for a number of years before having to accept that Dad's dementia and mobility required more specialised care within a safe environment. This was devastating for her. So the world of care homes was a new one for us all, but we quickly realised that a care home is only as good as its Manager and their team, and Trish you are excellent. You've really made a big difference to Willow Court, also the quality of the team you have put together, they are a credit to you. And for that I'm very grateful you were able to help my dear dad. In the course of time, I hope Mum will be able to return to Willow Court as you've suggested. I shall encourage her to do so. There are many carers I would like to thank but by doing so I know I may inadvertently miss someone. I would not like to do that. So please pass on my thanks to your whole team. I think we'll all miss him. With my kindest regards, Mrs B
