The Mead celebrates Dementia Awareness week filled with exciting activities.

Monday 19/05/14 - Enjoy an lovely afternoon with our residents arts & crafts on display to be admired. It will be followed by photos and reminiscing for our residents remembering a life well lived. Tuesday 20/05/14 - Come and join us on an afternoon of melodies as we will be singing to tunes from all genres. Another day of displaying arts & crafts work done by the Residents and there will also be wine & cheese tasting in the afternoon to highlight the day. Wednesday 21/05/14 - A day spent reminiscing on special toys and other objects that are connected with warm and unforgettable memories. Light arm chair exercises will be demonstrated by a professional. Thursday 22/05/14 - We have various activities workshop lined up on this afternoon for everyone to enjoy. The evening will kick of on 40's & 50's melodies alongside food tasting prepared by our QC team. Friday 23/05/14 - A very special day as our Hertsmere Mayor will be visiting us and will initiate the Balloon launch at 2pm. Waynes's karaoke will take place after lunch followed by military reminiscing by our residents on their wonderful and heroic days.
