National Care Home Open Day at The Mead

We are promoting a general feeling of happiness and wellbeing throughout The Home in support of the National Care Home Open Day on Friday 20th June 2014. We invite all staff and Residents to join in and wear bright colours on this day. Starts at 2-4pm with: •Activities showcasing •Tables Cookery club; Gardening; Library; Cakes & Sweets; Arts & Crafts; tombola/fund raising for activities •Garden Games •2:15pm – Entertainer Alan Smith will be performing songs from the decades We will also be doing a Mexican Wave which will be filmed and sent to Head Office to be joined up with all the other care homes taking part!!
