New Care Home Developments
Quantum Care’s new care home development programme is progressing well with three new Hertfordshire homes expected to open in 2023. These are Oakmoor Lodge in Bushey, Forest View in Bishop’s Stortford and Riverside Lodge in Rickmansworth.
Oakmoor Lodge, Bushey
Construction of Oakmoor Lodge has been completed and the home is now available for viewing. To book a viewing appointment please call 020 3343 2440 or email oakmoor@quantumcare.co.uk.
Oakmoor Lodge comprises 72 en-suite bedrooms, all fully furnished with items from Quantum Care’s carefully selected range, and is situated a short distance away from the popular Bushey Gallery which hosts exhibitions from local artists, as well as from those further afield. The interior design of the home reflects Bushey’s artistic heritage, with the home’s "Arthouse Café" being a focal point in the home.
The home also includes a cinema, hair and beauty salon and a number of well-appointed social lounges and dining rooms.
Elm View Care Home, Bishop’s Stortford
Construction is well underway on Elm View Care Home in Bishop’s Stortford. This home will provide 78 en-suite bedrooms and will feature a café, cinema, hair and beauty salon as well as a number of welcoming dining rooms and lounges.
Riverside Lodge, Rickmansworth
Construction of Riverside Lodge in Rickmansworth is also progressing well. The home will be situated on Church Street close to the Parish Church of St Mary and the river Colne, benefiting from beautiful riverside views.
This home will provide 75 en-suite bedrooms and will also feature a café, cinema, hair and beauty salon as well as comfortable dining rooms and lounges. A number of the bedrooms will open onto their own patio areas leading to secluded outside spaces.
All of our new homes will offer residential and specialist dementia care as well as convalescence care for individuals who just need to get back on their feet again after, say, a stay in hospital or an illness. Short breaks are also on offer, enabling those caring for an individual to take time off from caring, allowing the home to take up the care while they themselves rest and recover.
