A Dementia Friend learns a little bit more about what it’s like to live with dementia by attending an information session delivered by a Dementia Friends Champion, and then turns that understanding into action – from helping someone to find the right bus to spreading the word about dementia. To date Quantum Care have recruited over 400 Dementia Friends, and hope to recruit many more at the next Information Session to be held at Willow Court in Harpenden on Wednesday 17th September. The session will run from 6pm – 7pm and we would love to see you there! If you would like to join us just let the Home know to expect you by contacting them on 01582 466244 or email Willow@quantumcare.co.uk The sessions are open to everyone from our staff, families, friends and local communities – the more people we can recruit, the bigger the difference we can make for those living with dementia.
