Oakmoor Lodge Care Home Public Open Day

On Saturday 4th March 2023 we held a public open day for Oakmoor Lodge, our new luxury care home in Bushey. We’re pleased to say that the response from the local community was excellent and we showed a number of groups around the home during a very busy morning and early afternoon. We were also very happy to show around our new neighbours, who were keen to view the home for themselves.

Everyone who toured the home was incredibly positive about it and the features that it has to offer older people and their families in the Bushey community and beyond.

Oakmoor Lodge will provide residential and specialist dementia care as well as convalescence care for individuals who just need to get back on their feet again after, say, a stay in hospital or an illness. Short breaks are also on offer, enabling those caring for an individual to take time off from caring, while the home takes up the care while they themselves rest and recover.

The home has been designed to offer luxury accommodation for 72 individuals and, alongside the fully furnished en-suite rooms, includes the Arthouse Cinema, the Gallery Café, a hair and beauty salon, a celebration room and a number of social lounges and dining rooms.
