Pinewood Lodge Sponsored Walk

Last Wednesday, staff from Pinewood Lodge set out on a 10.5 mile sponsored walk for Dementia Action Week! Their route was lovely and scenic with walkers looking out for different wildlife from herons and ducklings to bulls and horses. As well as the more relaxing outdoor sights, they saw some lake skiing and action film making too! It was a fantastic day with lunch and well-deserved ice cream at the Cafe @ Lock 81. The trip was well worth it as the team managed to raise a phenomenal £500 for their residents’ amenities fund! Well done to you all and a big thank you to all who sponsored!
