Poem by Jubilee Court resident Kathleen Dickinson
We have received this beautiful poem from Kathleen who is a resident at Jubilee Court. We wanted to share it as it is so beautiful. Through the dining room window at Jubilee Court I watch the sun gilding the trees and bushes As it comes slanting through the trees, Long, long slants of light like something enchanted, mysterious still It’s Autumn: the trees and bushes turn with the season To reddish-brown and then to yellow Then gold tawny, russet and flame I listen to the cooing of pigeons - their cooing soft, warm and content I find that viewing the scene makes me content I am in a warm content place at Jubilee Court
