Poppy update . . . almost there!

As you may be aware, as part of our project Out Of Sight, But Not Forgotten, our staff, residents, family and friends have been busy knitting poppies which will be presented to each Quantum Care resident at our Veterans Tea Party celebrations in November. However with a target of 2,000 knitted poppies it was quite a challenge . . . but we’re almost there!
Today we had a delivery in from Willow Court, our Harpenden care home with an incredible 331 knitted poppies, taking our total up to 1,793 so far!
After our final count next week, Quantum Care will be making a donation to the Royal British Legion for each poppy made - well done everyone, just another 207 to go!!
