Providence Court Raises £226 for Dementia UK!

A big well done to Providence Court on raising £226 for Dementia UK! The home took part in the ‘Time for a Cuppa’ initiative and held a cake sale in the day room last Friday. Family and friends joined them at the event and enjoyed live entertainment and a sing-along with a ‘Trip down Memory Lane’, including favourite songs from starts of the past and present performed by Joe Vaughan. After the event itself, Activity Coordinator Nicola took her cake sale to her local hairdressers and her neighbours to help raise more, breaking her target of £200. The money will all go to Dementia UK, helping them to provide their Admiral Nurses and Dementia Helpline.
