Remembrance Day Commemorations at Tye Green Lodge
Residents and families came together at Tye Green Lodge on Remembrance Day to honour soldiers past and present. In an emotional service, Sue, a visitor to the home joined with team members Irene, Vickie and Michelle to read the iconic poetry from WW2, with Ken being asked to read the final poem, to which he said he would be honoured. Jodie Stone led all present in singing the old, war time songs with everyone standing for the final singing of ‘God Save the Queen’, setting off the truly moving commemoration on this special day.
