Reminiscence at Fosse House

Staff at Fosse House in St Albans spent lots of time this week with residents enjoying some lovely reminiscence, personalising pictures for their rooms and chatting to them about their families and their past.  This is a lovely activity for all, but especially beneficial for those living with dementia, as their memories of the past may be clearer than the present, and looking at happy times like weddings and family gatherings can really help to improve someone’s mood.
