The Results of the Quantum Care Community Challenge

The Quantum Care Community Challenge has been a month long even that has seen all of our care homes compete to complete 15 community related challenges. These challenges, which ran throughout October, resulted in 302 separate events that involved our residents connecting with the local communities they live within. Some took place within the homes and some took place out in the home’s respective local communities.

All of our homes took part, tracking their progress on challenge charts and posting their events on their individual Facebook pages. A total of 16 homes managed to complete all of the challenges they were set, a remarkable feat given that this took place over only 31 days.

The 16 homes who completed the challenges were set a tiebreak challenge and these were judged by a panel from Age UK Hertfordshire, to whom we are very grateful.

The results were revealed at a party on 15th of November and the winners were: 1st place to Oakmoor Lodge, Bushey. 2nd Place to Garden City Court, Letchworth. Joint 3rd to Courtland Lodge, Watford and Tye Green Lodge, Harlow. Congratulations to you all!

Everyone who took part did an absolutely incredible job and we applaud each and every one of you! The real winners were our residents though, who spent the month connecting even further with their local communities.

From local businesses, to sports teams, to celebrities, local dignitaries and, of course, the general public. You were all amazing and your engagement and support were very much appreciated!
