Reuniting Families and Friends

We are so delighted here at Quantum Care to be able to welcome back our families to our homes under the newly announced indoor visiting scheme. Here you can see Derek from Tye Green Lodge in Harlow who was the first resident to receive a visit from his daughter Melinda. The two were able to hold hands for the first time in a year and it meant the world to them both.

Tye Green Lodge’s Activity Co-ordinator Joan Adlington said “This was our very first face to face visit. It was so emotional and lovely to see families getting together again. Derek was so pleased to be able to hold his daughter’s hand. It was wonderful”.

Another relative from Tye Green Lodge said “A huge big thank you to all the carers at Tye Green care home in Harlow for their constant care for my Nan. Today my Auntie got to hold her hand and visit her nearly after a year with no physical contact. Thank you so much x”
