Sir Charles Walker MP Visits Belmont View

Sir Charles Walker MP visited Belmont View, our care home in Hertford, on Friday 2nd February. Charles, who is no stranger to the home, came to visit residents and staff and to take a tour.

He was greeted by a number of staff members including the Home Manager, Sharon Howe, the Deputy Manager, Dawn Curtis and Wanda Spooner, the HR Director of Quantum Care and then went through to the home’s day centre to sit and chat with some of Belmont View’s residents over refreshments.

Charles also visited another resident who he has been in correspondence with for a long period of time, to talk about the resident’s past and his interests as a constituent.

Charles has kept in regular contact with residents and staff at Belmont View over the years and was particularly supportive during the coronavirus pandemic, for which we are all very grateful.

Wanda Spooner said “It was great to see Charles revisit Belmont View and we will be forever grateful to him for the relationships he has built with both residents and staff at the home during his time as a Member of Parliament. I know that the residents enjoy chatting to him when he visits and the staff team here are always happy to see him.”
