A Talk on the Power of Music for the Mind

We are holding a talk on the power of music for the mind here at Riverside Lodge. It will be giver by Professor Catherine Loveday on Thursday 10th April 2025 from 3pm to 5pm so please do come and join us. The talk is free and all you have to do is contact us to book a place.

Music is all around us and it has the power to compel us to dance, move us to tears, even lure us into love.

This talk will discuss what happens in the brain and body when we listen to music and explain why it provokes such strong memories.
