Tea party at the Mead thanks to Ellen

Lovely story from The Mead in Borehamwood this week: One of the residents, Ellen, realised she was very lucky as she has a large family that is getting to visit her and taking her out for jaunts. Seeing that some of the residents were not so fortunate, she decided to throw them a tea party. Care Team Manager Chelsea took her to the shops to get iced buns and cakes, Ellen insisting on using her own money to pay for everything. Her afternoon was spent chatting with everyone and making sure they were ok, serving tea and cakes like a perfect hostess.
