Dear Sirs, We write in the highest praise of the staff at the Day Centre at Fosse House which my father attended. We hardly know where to begin thanking all the staff but most notable were Emma, Maria and Luke. All three were wonderful to my father and developed a strong bond with him and us all. The support extended to us all and the experience and expertise they were able to give us helped us to understand dementia. Emma, Maria and Luke made it a positive experience for my father with their understanding and kindness and this gave our family such reassurance. They all gained my father's trust and he was very fond of them all. The Day Centre under the supervision of these three experts was a friendly, secure and loving environment. It was evident from the atmosphere that all the people attending were cared for and appreciated, their individual needs being catered for and their dignity respected. It was a fun place to be with carefully thought out activities prepared for each session and such a variety of themes. There was a homely feel to the sessions and it really looked as though they were all just one big diverse and happy family. Each person was treated as an individual.
