Testimonial for Greenacres
I received an invitation to a party to celebrate the wedding of William and Kate to be held at Greenacres Residential Home which is where my mum resides. On arrival, there was an array of colourful bunting, flags, pictures and decorations. The staff were all dressed in their wedding outfits including hats and residents seated in comfy seats in the day room which was also adorned with flags and decorations. During the ceremony watched on the TV the staff gave out drinks to toast the couple. After the balcony scene the staff had worked very hard to provide a most delicious lunch of a full buffet with everything you could imagine plus a host of hot foods from around the world provided by not just the cooks but by some of the care staff. I had to personally thank all the staff for their hard work and serving such a wonderful lunch. We ate in the garden as the weather was glorious and this added to the delightful day. After lunch, drinks were offered whilst we waited for the staff to clear away the lunch tables downstairs in readiness for the entertainment, a choir which came to sing to the residents. I had a really lovely day and would especially like to thank Sue and Jan with the staff who made it a very special day for residents and their families. Thank you Greenacres.
