Dear all, I am so glad that I chose Pinewood Lodge as Mum and Dad's last home. The situation last March 2012 had become quite desperate for both mum and dad until events took over and I realised that we must all decide pretty quickly on the next step. That's when Pinewood Lodge appeared at the end of the long tunnel - the answer to all our prayers. From the day they both moved in, the staff have been absolutely wonderful, extremely professional, sensitive and caring in everything they do. They always appear to have the time to talk and take very special care of all of the residents, no matter how busy they are and it definitely comes across. Dad had settled in so quickly and had adjusted perfectly within his new home, in spite of all the confusion and extreme worry which had gone on beforehand. In such a short space of time he had calmed down and had a more leisurely approach to life. I think he was very contented and happy.
