Testimonial for Pinewood Lodge / Mrs B

Dear Sir/Madam, I am writing this message for those who are wondering and worrying (like I did) about their mother or father going into residential care. Trying to find the right place for them and their needs is very hard, and if you care, you want to make very sure that they are cared for. My mum has been at Pinewood Lodge now for three and a half years – she is 93 and totally immobile as she had chronic arthritis, so relies on them for everything. She tells me and the family that they are lovely to her. The staff are very kind, which you would hope they would be, and they try their best for all the residents. At first mum did find it hard to settle – giving up your own home after many years being independent must be hard for most people.
