Dear Jackie, I want to thank you and your staff for the care and support which you gave to my dad over the year he spent with you. The standards of care, cleanliness and food have always been exceptional but what dad appreciated the most was the personal relationships he developed during his stay.  At every visit he would say how kind all the staff were and he very much enjoyed the fact that through the day different people would pop in to make sure he was ok and often stop and talk for a few minutes. His need for personal care could easily have caused him embarrassment and distress, but a combination of his own good humour and the staff's professional and yet relaxed response made this so much easier to accept. A friend of mine who called on him once reported to me that he said he was the happiest he'd been for years.
