Dear Coni & staff, I am writing on behalf of my brother and sisters to thank you and your amazing colleagues for the tender and obvious care you gave to our mother M.T. We feel mum had a good experience with you during her final year of life. In fact she was doing things she had not done for many years, like knitting and decorating cakes. You had succeeded in encouraging her to have a social slide to her like which was missing in the last few years, as she usually only saw family members. In the home she saw a wide variety of people and had the chance to make new friends. As well as caring for mum, our families were made to feel very welcome and still an integral part of mum's life, this was priceless as mum going into a home had not been an easy decision for any of us to make. When it came to mum's final week you and your staff were a very special team. You kept us informed and as the week progressed not only the care for mum increased but so did the care you showed to us. We were piled with tea, coffee and even breakfast and sandwiches when we stayed the night with mum. When mum passed away, the care and your staff showed to her and ourselves was incredible, we were very grateful that at such a time you all made it that much easier for us.
