Trip to Fairlands for Jubilee Court Resident

Frank, a resident at Jubilee Court, mentioned that he used to enjoy fishing at Fairlands Lakes in Stevenage. The activity team decided it was high time for a trip down memory lane so they took him for a walk around the two lakes, stopping to watch the fishermen and finishing off with a cup of tea at the cafe. Frank enjoyed looking at the wildlife; in particular a common tern diving for fish and a friendly goose who seemed to think there was some food to had! On the way back they drove the long way taking Frank round his old haunts and going past his old house. Frank helps to run the crossword club for other residents on a Thursday, so the team were very glad to have found a way to treat him as a thank you!
