Tropical themed Garden Party Celebrations at The Mead!

Residents, staff, family and friends enjoyed an afternoon of beach themed games and activities within the grounds of the Home, which included a ball pit, mini beach with paddling pool, a mocktail bar, buffet and ice creams, as well as entertainment from a steel band! With a number of stalls at the event, guests also enjoyed cakes and sweets, games and a raffle. Emma Skuce, Home Administrator said “Everyone seemed to have a really nice time and we had a great turnout. My Deputy Home Manager said she thought it was the best one we’d had and the weather helped with that. A resident’s partner said they’d both had a lovely day and he thought it was nice for everyone to get together.
