Tye Green Lodge Present a Medal to Major Lee

When Major Lee joined Tye Green Lodge, he spoke to the team there about his Military History and he mentioned that his General Service Medal that he was awarded for his time in Malaysia during the Malaysian Conflicts was stolen and he could not get a replacement because he had no proof of when or how this happened. Naturally, the team took on the challenge of getting him a replacement! After a lot of searching and contacting different companies and finally Ebay they found a reproduction sight that provided us with a Medal that had not been engraved ­ a local jeweller engraved his Officers number and name around the edge and it was mounted it in a brand new frame and presented it to him ­ he was thrilled. It was lovely for the team to be able to do this for him!
