Veterans' Medal Presentation at Tye Green Lodge
"We were very honoured on Wednesday 8th April to have Robert Halfon, Harlow’s Conservative MP, come along to present Veterans' medals to Victor Lashmar & Jackie Silverton for their services during the Second World War. It was a very special occasion and both residents had their families there to support them. Their Service histories were read to us and we are very proud at Tye green to have them with us. We sat and chatted afterwards about old times whilst enjoying Tea and cakes."
