Willow Court Visitors Become Dementia Friends

The children from St John’s Primary School are regular visitors to Willow Court, often coming in an singing for the residents. These children have now gone one step further and have made the pledge to be Dementia Friends following a talk from one of Quantum Care’s Dementia Champions. Each child has written down a pledge stating what they will do to help those living with dementia, these range from being patient and kind to singing for people to comfort them. It’s wonderful to see such kindness and compassion from these children who now better understand the people they visit and why their singing can make such a difference to our residents.
