Willow residents enjoy special concert from prize winning young talent!

On Thursday evening Willow Court in Harpenden were pleased to have Julia Wallin, Royal Academy of Music graduate perform a free concert for the residents of the Home. Pianist Julia, who has won prizes in several competitions such as the Wilfrid Parry and Poleeni Lied Piano Competition, visited Willow Court to perform a 1 hour concert. The residents were delighted to have the opportunity to enjoy the performance from Julia, who has just recorded her debut album with multi-Grammy winner producer, Andreas Neubronner, which is to be released later this year. Julia very kindly approached Quantum Care to offer a free concert - Julia said “It is important to me to support the availability of live performance of classical music for everyone." The residents and staff thoroughly enjoyed the event, with one member of the team commenting that she’d wished she’d kept up with her piano lessons as a youngster!
