WWII veteran and Wroxham Junior School Visit

Mayfair Lodge in Potters Bar felt honoured when they received a letter from a year four student at Wroxham Junior School asking if the children could come and speak to residents about their most recent topic, WW2. The children were greeted by WW2 veteran and Quantum Care volunteer Ernie Large who discussed his own experiences. They spent time showing residents their own illustrations, reading poems and discussing memories. The project spanned over three separate visits and was enjoyed by everyone involved. #ww2 #quantumcare #elderlycare
