The residents at Greenacres, our care home in Hatfield, were visited by a team from their local fire station recently as part of the Hertfordshire Fire and Rescue Service’s community safety initiative.

Last week, Anson Court in Welwyn Garden City had a visit from a beautiful pony. All the residents enjoyed a bit of pet therapy as they got to meet this fantastic animal, what a special treat!

For #WorldAlzheimersDay, Courtland Lodge in Watford had a Cowgirls and Indians themed dress up day! The staff dressed as cowgirls and the residents made feather headbands to wear. With a cake sale and prize bingo they really marked the day, raising money for Alzheimer’s Research UK.

Today is World Alzheimer's Day, a day to raise awareness of this form of dementia. At Heath House in Bushey Heath, residents enjoyed painting forget-me-nots, a flower that signifies remembrance. #WorldAlzheimersDay #QuantumCare #ElderlyCare

We clearly have some talented artists over at Pinewood Lodge in South Oxhey! The residents used stencils to get an outline for their artworks and then did a beautiful job of bringing these to life.
