Great that we can do lovely day trips again – Vesta Lodge in St Albans took some of the residents on a lovely canal trip! They got to relax along the canal and got a chance to help out by opening the locks. Looks like it was a boat-iful day! #QuantumCare #ElderlyCare

Yesterday marked the 64th Wedding anniversary of Brenda and Ray from Garden City Court in Letchworth Garden City – we hope you both had a wonderful day!

At Fosse House in St Albans they recently had a 1940s themed evening – Care Team Managers Sue and Emily made ration boxes for each resident, containing spam, corned beef and chicken spread sandwiches, scotch eggs, sausage rolls, swiss rolls, Battenberg, Victoria sponge and scones with jam.

Reminiscence is an important part of elderly care, especially for those living with dementia, and we love to chat with residents about their memories and get a good discussion going.

We would like to wish good luck to Clare Ding from our Learning and Development Team as they have been nominated for the Apprentice Champion Award! Well done Clare!

Residents from Jubilee Court in Stevenage enjoyed a trip to a local garden centre and a cup of tea at the lakes - looks like they had a lovely time!
