Dear Julie,
I'm sorry for not writing sonner, but just wanted to say thank you for looking after my Mum, Shirley, so well and please pass on my thanks to all the staff at Jubilee Court and particularly Yew Tree for all that they have done. Not forgetting the Activity Care Workers, Ian and Carol along with the Catering Team as I know Mum really appreciated all they do.
As I've said to you and to many of the Carers, I really don't know what I would have done without your help. and the excellent care and hard work at Jubilee Court is much appreciated. I know the pandemic has made things exceptionally difficult over the last two years but everyone has been fantastic and very supportive.
My daughter Alexia and I have decided to do a private cremation at Harwood Park and then at a later date, we will have a memorial service at St Mary's in Beverley where Mum always attended church every week. Although she came to live with us in Hertfordshire, her heart was always in Yorkshire and her ashes will be interred in the grave with my father in Beverley, back home.
Once my head is clearer and the lockdown situation improves for you, I'll be in touch again.
With best wishes.
