The Rah Rah Theatre Company put on a Charleston show at The Mead which the residents absolutely loved! The singing and dancing was fantastic and residents were included in the show. A big thank you to the Rah Rah group for such a special performance!

Residents at The Mead were joined by family and friends for their Summer Garden Party recently. They all enjoyed the sunshine, raising £720 for the home from their range of stalls, including manicures, tombola, cocktails and hook a duck!

Staff at The Mead had a pyjama day to raise money for Children in Need! They had a fun day, with a few residents joining them and, while they’re still collecting all donations, they’ve raised about £40 so far!

This Halloween, Activities Coordinator Suzanne at The Mead went all out for her residents and created a lovely but spooky scene for a fun party which everyone really enjoyed. Music, singing, dressing up and spooky food made for a great time!

Residents from The Mead enjoying fantastic trip to Southend on Sea recently; fish and chips and a stroll on the beach were the highlights of the day with another trip lined up for the near future, which everyone in the home is very much looking forward to!

Residents at The Mead hosted an unusual group of visitors recently: a collection of animals from the Wild Science! The group included a hedgehog, guinea pig and even a gecko.

Residents from Jubilee Court have been visiting their friends at The Mead, thanks to Carol, Julie and Gertrude. Carol led everyone from both homes in a sing-along to some old favourites for a wonderful morning’s entertainment!
