Providence Court news

Dear Karen, Mel, Bella and all the other members of the Providence Court team, This last year has been full of joy and sorrow, memories that I will never forget and treasure every moment.

Jane: "With Easter fast approaching we have so far made Easter birds' nest cakes and talked about Easter with lots of visual props, Easter eggs, Easter bunnies, Easter hats, arts and crafts etc., trivia, fascinating facts.

The week was celebrated with information on health, nutrition and hydration as well as informing the residents on how to feed the birds and why this is important.

Jane: "In the build-up to St. Patrick's Day I gave talks in all 4 communal lounges on the history of St. Patrick and we talked about Irish culture, music, dance, poetry, food and enjoyed many a humorous limerick. We talked about how St.

The residents looked at Mothers' Day cards from different time periods and spoke about the origin of the event. They also: read poems, had afternoon tea and cakes and decorated the tables with fresh daffodils. A fun day was had by all!

What an exciting month it's going to be for the Providence Court Residents! It will consist of many events and activities, filling up the residents' days with fun and laughter. The events will include an animal workshop whereby a group are coming in to showcase all of the animals.

Karen, Jackie, Mel, Pat, Jean and Danielle from Providence Court all climbed the O2 dome on Friday in the sweltering 80 degree heat.
