Tye Green Lodge news

Terry Card has been a regular P.A.T visitor to Tye Green Lodge for several years now, always brining his Chihuahuas Ben and George with him! The residents love both dogs and when they visit, Ben and George spend the day sitting in laps.

A very sunny Mother’s Day at Tye Green Lodge as families were invited in for late morning tea and scones.

The ladies from the University of the Third Age (U3A) recently enjoyed their third visit to Tye Green Lodge. The U3A movement is dedicated to providing life-enhancing experiences and opportunities for older people. All members share their experiences and everyone learns from each other.

Tye Green Lodge played host to a few guests from Jubilee Court recently. Carol and Julie from Jubilee brought four of their residents over and soon had everyone singing and dancing to their favourite songs! Everyone enjoyed lunch and a chat, getting to know everyone a little better.

A fantastic Valentine’s Day for Tye Green Lodge. Every resident received their own rose, hand delivered by a fireman while James LeBeck sang for them, an absolute treat!

Residents at Tye Green Lodge have been brushing up on their baking skills by making delicious chocolate and cherry cookies.

The sun was shining on Tye Green Lodge’s visit to Paradise Park earlier this year. The mix of residents and staff enjoyed an afternoon seeing the many different animals, from lemurs to lions, zebras to penguins, some beautiful Red Pandas and so many more!

We’d like to say a big thank you to Shirley, a very generous lady who has supported Tye Green Lodge since it opened by crocheting lap blankets for the residents. These lovely creations have been coming in from the very start and are still coming now, 10 years later.
