Meet George, one of Tye Green Lodge’s resident cats. George adopted the home about 18 months ago after his owners moved away and he couldn’t have chosen a better home. He loves nothing more than having a fuss made of him, and there are plenty on hand at Tye Green Lodge to do it!

The ladies at Tye Green Lodge are very proud of their latest creations: some lovely table decorations made after a busy morning of flower arranging! These beautiful pieces are sure to brighten up the dining rooms and get everyone in the home in the summer spirit!

Tye Green Lodge residents enjoyed another visit from one of their absolute favourite guests: Anastasia! The maracas and tambourines emerged for a great sing-along followed by a musical quiz where residents had to guess the singer and what films they had done.

Tye Green Lodge hosted their very first cocktail night! Plenty of families came along to join in and, fortunately, enjoyed the homes’ first attempt at cocktails making! The night was a huge success, one that everyone at Tye Green, especially the residents, are eager to repeat.

Residents at Tye Green Lodge enjoyed some live music from James Le-Beck recently.

The U3A Ukulele Band visited Tye Green Lodge recently, playing live music they all enjoyed. Residents and staff are both hoping for a return visit in the near future and would like to thank the University of the Third Age and the band member for their fantastic performance.

Residents at Tye Green Lodge enjoyed their annual canal boat trip from the Moorhen down to Old Harlow! The four hour cruise on the Stort River is a very popular event at the home, this year offered free from the Canal Boat Project Team!

Tye Green Lodge residents have been busy in the kitchen baking chocolate and cherry cookies! It’s always an enjoyable activity and was even more so this time as they had a visitor ready and waiting to taste the finished product!
