Here in Britain, we have been giving thanks for successful yearly harvests since Pagan times and these have become what we now call the Harvest Festival, which usually takes place towards the end of September but can extend into October.

Every once in a while staff in our care homes are approached by someone and asked if there is anything they can do to help the residents.

This year is Quantum Care’s 30th Birthday and we’ve been celebrating in style right across all of our care homes with events that have been ongoing since the Queen’s Jubilee. As well as birthday celebrations we’ve also been running other projects to mark this very special occasion.

Congratulations to the team at Jubilee Court, our care home in Stevenage, for their nomination as The Most Innovative Residential Care Team at the HCPA Hertfordshire Care Awards!! The glitzy ceremony was held on Friday 17th June at the Warner Bros.
