Tye Green Lodge news

Andy Wright from Harlow College came to Tye Green on Monday 30th March to give a demonstration on how to make Chocolates! He showed the residents how he made Easter Eggs and then made some smaller trays of chocolates.

The Tye Green Lodge hat parade consisted of eight residents who modelled the hats and another three residents who were the judges!

"We were very honoured on Wednesday 8th April to have Robert Halfon, Harlow’s Conservative MP, come along to present Veterans' medals to Victor Lashmar & Jackie Silverton for their services during the Second World War.

This is what the staff say: "Our first attempt at Circle Dancing was a great success and fun to do . Myself, Wendy and Sarah were not really sure of what we were doing but our centre piece was beautiful and with the help of our residents we had a really fun morning!

Tye Green Lodge invited families & friends to visit on Mothers' Day to enjoy a morning Coffee & Cake with their family members. It was such a busy morning with so many visitors calling in to join us.

Tye Green Lodge have a very exciting month ahead of them. They will be visited by the guitarist Johnny Warman and later that week will also enjoy a day trip shopping! The excitement does not end there...

On the 19th December, Connaught Opera visited Tye Green Lodge! It is always a wonderful event, with amazing music and costumes!
