The exhibition was brilliant for the residents who enjoyed a trip down memory lane looking at the old planes and vehicles from their past. Image Larwood School Visits Jubilee Court Larwood School came to visit Jubilee Court to work in their garden as part of their community project. They can be seen here working on the new patio area, helping out with the home’s future plans for a grand opening around bonfire night! Beginning with colouring in the Olympic rings they then went on to make their own medals by decorating shortbread biscuits (made by the home’s fabulous chefs). Image David Brierley Performs at Jubilee Court Jubilee Court residents were thrilled when singer David Brierley came in to perform recently! His music had them dancing in aisles and happily singing along with his covers of Tom Jones, Neil Diamond and The Beatles! Image Jubilee Court National Joke Day Recently, residents at Jubilee Court enjoyed their regular Tuesday morning Bingo, with a cup of tea and biscuits and a game of ‘Guess the Bingo Calls’. This time however, they followed it up with a celebration for National Tell a Joke Day! Image Bert's Birthday Lunch with Jubilee Court Carers Jean and Georgia really went the extra mile (and then some!) to take Jubilee Court resident Bert out for his 98th birthday! The two of them pushed his wheelchair for a mile and a half each way as they took him to the Standing Order pub in Stevenage Old Town. Image Trip to Fairlands for Jubilee Court Resident Frank, a resident at Jubilee Court, mentioned that he used to enjoy fishing at Fairlands Lakes in Stevenage.
